ABOUT THE BUSINESS AND PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS

Kristin and Lou Perry started Its About Thyme in 2004, growing and selling herbs to upscale restaurants. Lou has a background as a professional chef and that is how the name was formed. Kristin designed and maintained properties and Lou did hardscaping and lawns along with the herb business.

Lou continued working full time in construction until 2009, the business has become very successful and they now both do this for a full time living. Edible flowers and herbs took a back seat while the landscaping and hardscaping grew. Kristin has had a background in horticulture since she was a little girl. She has worked in garden centers with some of the top professionals in the field. Kristin has studied at URI and RISD and Lou has continued his education in the landscape field on a yearly basis staying up to date on all the latest information.
